The center of the psychological services of Education Office Resource Officers of the Ministry of Education and Science is implementing the project "Child abuse – in needs of child protection referral procedures are required."

The project is long-term and its main objective is to identify cases of child abuse, responding to them, redirect (referral) and child abuse prevention. The target groups are the (bailiffs) and the school principals and deputies, in the schools, which does not have resource officers. Psychological Services Center has already trained 1,700 resource officers in Tbilisi and also in other regions. At this stage are trained the representatives of school administration of Shida Kartli and Mtskheta-Mtianeti.

 The project is carried out by the support of "the public health fund”.
