The Minister of education and science of Georgia, Tamar Sanikidze, the chairperson of Central Election Commission Tmar Zhvania,the director of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training Natia Zaalishvili signed the memorandum of cooperation.
The memorandum aims to increase public awareness among pupils, to develop election culture and to involve them in social and political life as active citizens.
The two sides agree to develop informational-learning course ‘elections and a new elector’, which will be implemented step by step for the XI-XII grade students in public schools.
The representatives of governmental, local, non-governmental organizations attended the events as well.
