Within the framework of Vocational Education Reform, Georgian delegation is continuing meetings planned in the Federal Republic of Germany. Today, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze met with her counterpart Manfred Shtele in Shtoutgart, at the Ministry of Education and Culture of Baden-Württemberg.
The main topic of the meeting was piloting of the introduction of dual education elements in Georgia, of which international experience the Ministry of Education of Baden-Württemberg already has. Model of successful cooperation with the Singapore was presented to Georgian delegation. As agreed, work on the project and the action plan for Georgia will start as soon as representatives of the Ministry of Education of Baden-Württemberg and experts will study on-site the course of the vocational education reform in Georgia. At the same time, vocational students exchange program, which Georgia has with the Biberach will get to another level.
Th first Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriashvili, representative of International Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Education of Shtoutgart Mathias Kurle, representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Tamar Kitiashvili and Verner Kerni participated in the meeting.
