In the framework of „International Week of  Science and Innovations “ initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia,  presentation of the internship program “Start a Career” was held  at Tbilisi City hall.

As a part of the program, Tbilisi City Hall offers the graduating students three month practice in City Hall based organizations, depending on their educational profile and professional directions.

Tbilisi City Hall's initiative is aimed at improving students’ general and technical competencies and preparing them for employment and career growth. At this point up to 300 students are selected for professional practice.

Deputy Tbilisi Mayor Irakli Lekvinadze introduced the program.  Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Giorgi Sharvashidze, representatives of the Civil Service Bureau, higher educational institutions and City Hall based organizations attended presentation of the internship program.
