The Ministry of Education and Science, together with the Association of Private Schools begins a new project from the next academic year. The Minister announced about the joint project during his visit to private school-lyceum "Mtsignobartukhutsesi".

From the next academic year, by the ministries support, Georgian private schools will give an opportunity to the talented schoolchildren from vulnerable families to study at private schools, receive high quality education and use the modern infrastructure without tuition fees. The winners of National School Olympiad can also study at private schools, if they wish so. This is a reward for them. “It is important to encourage talented schoolchildren” – announced Dimitri Shashkini.

According to the new project, studying at private schools will be the privilege for the talented, motivated schoolchildren as well as for certain part of society. The schools will make dicisions on selection and  number of addmited schoolchildren on their own. By the Minister’s decision, Georgian government and the Ministry of Education and Science will support the development of private schools. The Minister got familiarized with the methods of education and experience, also the infrastructure and technical support of the private school during his visit to "Mtsignobartukhutsesi".
