November 27, Gori State University 80th anniversary celebration was held, by many honorable guests the Ministry of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze attended.
Gori State University is strong education and science place in Shida Kartli region, which has a number of prominent public figures and well-known teachers grew for their homeland. In Gori university, in different periods the scientific and teaching activities were engaged such great scientists and public figures, such as: E. Metreveli, S. Gachechiladze, S Khucishvili, V Topuria, D. Tevzadze and others.
