Korneli Kekelidzer Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts is the winner of Shota Rustaveli grant competition and is conducting the winter school ‘Georgian Manuscript”.
The aim of this school is to promote the scientific-scholarship working of Humanitarian students (masters, doctors) and young scientists in these brunches which corresponds the main educational directions of National Centre of Manuscripts.
The program of Winter school caused great interests among students. 30 application forms were received from 11 Universities of Georgia.
On this stage 15 pupil is selected from the 8 regional Universities of Georgia. In the process of selection preferences will be given to the students interested with school programs, whose scientific interests corresponds the theme of school.
The academic program of the school is quite busy. It comprises more than 20 lectures, workshops, and interactive programs. The course will be leaded by the famous Georgian and foreign scientists. The listeners of school will have opportunities to establish firm contacts with the authoritative scholars in the manuscript field.
Today was held the official opening ceremony of winter school within the Georgian National centre of Manuscript, in which were participated the Deputy Of Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Sharvashidze and director of National Centre of Manuscript Zaza Abashidze. The project was also attended by the representatives from Shora Rustaveli National Scientist Foundation and regional universities.
