Within the vocational education reform framework, Kobuleti vocational college “Akhali Talgha” is undergoing a major renovation and refurbishment process. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Ms. Tamar Sanikidze, together the Minister of Culture and Sport of Adjara A /R – Mr. George Tavamaishvili got acquainted with the whole process.
Besides the renovation process at the vocational college “Akhali Talgha”, the college is undergoing a major procedure of adapting the premises and the general college environment to the individuals with special educational needs, which eventually makes the college accessible to everyone. Additionally, from the beginning of the new academic year, the college will be equipped with the industrial innovations laboratory (Publab), its workshops will be fully re-equipped with the latest appliances and the modular programs will be fully updated.
“Akhali Talgha” vocational college provides the education of courses, which is crucial for the development of the Adjara region, such as; tourism, restaurant business, construction, heavy logistics, and heavy construction equipment (Grader, cargo and hydraulic excavator) operator, crane operator, gypsum cardboard specialist, electrician, refrigeration technician, and so forth.
Furthermore, increasing the access to education, is the main priority of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. In this regard, a coherent educational infrastructure is absolutely vital. Therefore, numerous vocational colleges across the Georgia are being fully renovated with the universal design in an uninterrupted manner.
