The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia responds to today's media reports, according to which, several school principals received a letter from one of the resource center, stating they are forbidden to participate in any form of cooperation except for the ruling party.

The information is a deliberate lie! This kind of information would never spread from the resource center, this is a disinformation by the National Movement to mislead the public and discredit the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry of Education and Science explains, that after the working hours, the school teachers have the opportunity to express their opinion towards any political party of their preference. The restriction of this right is contrary to the Georgian constitution, which is embedded in all of the Ministry of Education and Science employee.
