The Minister of Education and Science – Aleksandre  Jejelava throughout the country, met with the rectors of the public and private higher education institutions. Owing to the Minister’s initiative, such meetings will be held once a month at the universities, in order to make all major decisions on various important matters, and it will only be availble throught conluding opinions and coming up with a joint agreement.

The meeting, which was held in a question-answer manner, discussed the issues identified in the future, and the discussion focused on the topics such as, education funding, free faculties, the internalization of education, foreign students, qualification enhancmenet, scientific exchange, implementation of modern technologies, distance learning, student employment and many more.
