The State Educational Development Agency of Latvia provides the scholarships for the Georgian students and academic staff for the 2017/2018 academic years, as well as the scholarships for those who want to take part in the summer school.

The applications of those students will be received for the scholarship program, which have successfully completed one academic year of study. Scholarship for bachelor and master degree students is 500 EUR per month and for doctoral degree students - 670 EUR. For academic and scientific staff of higher education institutions and research institutes, the scholarship program lasts during 5 months and funding amounts to 300 EUR per month.

The academic year starts on September 1 in the higher educational institutions of Latvia and lasts until 30 June. Deadline for acceptance of application is April 1, 2017.

The scholarship program offered by the Latvian party also includes the summer school, where students and academic staff of higher education institutions will be able to take part. Deadline for application is May 4, 2017. During the summer program, funding amounts to 711 EUR.

Final decision on funding for the scholarship program of Latvia is made by the evaluation committee of the State Education Development Agency of Latvia.
