The Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and the State Minister for Diaspora Issues, Mirza (Papuna) Davitaia held a first joint meeting of the commission at the Ministry of Education and Science. The development of the curricula for the Georgian Weekend Schools abroad was discussed at the meeting.
We would remind you, that the memorandum of cooperation was signed on March 18, 2010. The memorandum envisages creating and presenting the curricula for Weekend Schools abroad during the three months.
According to the Minister’s announcement, developing the curricula for the Weekend Schools abroad is necessary for our nationals to maintain the National language and identity.
