A room commemorating the famous Georgian literary scholar- Vato Rodonaia was opened at Vakhtang the VI building of the National Library. Mikheil Chkhenkeli – The Minister of Education and Science stated that Mr. Rodonaia and his group were amongst the first scholars to study the problems of Georgian literature and took decisive steps to liberate Georgian schools from its Soviet legacy. There is no doubt that this newly opened space will serve as an inspirational place for people who value literature, art and new way of thinking – stated the Minister in his commemorating speech.

The newly opened space offers the possibility to arrange thematic meetings, discussions and contests. Additionally, the space periodically can hold thematic meetings on discussing Georgian textbooks and pedagogics.
