The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Batiashvili spoke about the new model of the Georgian education reform, which will be provided in a detailed manner to the general public on a regular basis.

The new model includes both pre-school and general education as well as infrastructure development, introducing innovation and technologies, safety norms, national exams, quality assurance in higher education institutions, introduction of new model of funding, vocational education, science education, education clusters and so forth.

"The new school model implies the development of critical thinking for our children, including innovations and technologies. There is no alternative. We are obliged to introduce more modern technologies to schools in the capital and in regions.” Stated Mikheil Batiashvili.
