Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia spoke about the importance of having the accessibility to ELSEVIER scientific databases in the field of scientific research, which will increase access to quality knowledge and research.

According to him, access to the ELSEVIER scientific databases will be fully funded by private universities and state universities. As a result, all universities and research institutes of Georgia will be able to use international scientific bases such as Science Direct, SciVal Finder, Scopus, Mendeley Data and so forth. Accordingly, Georgian scientists, professors and students will be able to get acquainted with international scientific innovations from their universities and research institutions.

Promotion of Georgian Science within the reforms initiated in education and integration into their international scientific community is one of the most important priorities of the Georgian government.
