Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Nunu Mitskevichi held a working meeting with the representatives of the British Council in Georgia. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss current and future cooperation with the British Council. The parties discussed the strengthening of entrepreneurial skills and improving the quality of English-language educational programs for students of Georgian higher education institutions.

With the support of the British Council, the ongoing program "Creative Spark: Entrepreneurship Education Program for Higher Education Institutions" is successfully implemented in seven higher education institutions of Georgia. According to Deputy Minister, it is necessary to develop the skills of creative entrepreneurship in students at the higher education level, which will help not only to employ them along the way, but also to develop their scientific career. It is noteworthy that the students involved in the program will be equipped with skills that will help them both to form their own creative idea as a project and transform it into a business product, as well as to find international partners.

At the meeting, the representative of the British Council - Zaza Purtseladze informed the Deputy Minister about the project "Higher Education for Employment", one of the goals of which is to promote the internationalization of higher education.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on the format of cooperation and planned future meetings with the Department of Higher Education and Science Development of the Ministry to discuss specific issues related to the projects.
