Mikheil Chkhenkeli – the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia held a meeting with Fadia Saadah – the Director of Global Practice of Health, Nutrition and Population of the World Bank.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia together with the Innovation and Technologies Agency organized the final event of "Innovative Training Week in Vocational Education". On this day, the children of "SOS Children's Village" were able to get acquainted with innovative technologies with the help of using innovative laboratories in the Agency, whilst trying out their skills in robotics and electronics.

Today the Parliament of Georgia has adopted amendments to the Law on General Education, under which significant changes have been made to the development of inclusive education:

Before the start of the national exams, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli visited the exam centers, wished the entrants success and talked about the innovations that the Ministry will implement in the coming future.

Due to the expected hot days in the coming days, the schedule of Unified Entrance Exams (Examination of Georgian Language and Literature and General Skills) has changed.

Within the scope of the Innovative Training Week, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the University of Georgia and UG Startup Factory organized a seminar, where successful startup business owners, shared their experience to the university students on how to implement their own ideas and start a unique business.

Organized by the Georgian Farmers Association and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the discussion of the project - "Work-Based Learning" was held, where the results and the presentation of innovations concerning the ongoing reform in the field of vocational education were presented.

Due to agreement reached between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and the Embassy of Hungary to Georgia, the parties have organized a presentation of several alterations to the bilateral educational program, which enhances the scholarship quota for Hungarian students in Georgian universities.
