The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulates all children on the International Children's Day.

Natia Sherbakova has been working with students with special educational needs since 2015, when inclusive education faced a great challenge - quality education for students with special educational needs required not only raising public awareness, but also changing attitudes, school administration, and teacher’s and parent’s mindset.

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili awarded the French Kartvelologist - Bernard Utier, the Head of the Scientific Department of the Georgian National Archives - Ketevan Asatiani, the Director of the Museum of Georgian Emigration - Rusudan Kobakhidze and the Director of the Polish Institute in Tbilisi - Lech Konchak. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli attended the solemn event held at the Orbeliani Palace.

Within the framework of the USAID Growth in Georgia project, Akhaltsikhe, Gori, Kachreti and Zugdidi vocational education institutions were provided with relevant equipment for the implementation of the tour guide program. 

With the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the 11^th International Education Exhibition - 2021 was opened, which will be held online on May 27-28.

In 2020, Georgia joined the Night of European Researchers for the first time with the project "Science is Captain". To commemorate this event, owing to the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Georgian Post issued a postage stamp, which is a visible attribute of the recent history of the country.
