Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini attended the conference Educational Reform – Challenges and Initiatives seen from Public Point of View. Conference was organized by Education Alliance of Georgia.

Conference was designed to analyze and evaluate already implemented innovations in the education system, define public view and discuss new initiatives. Participants expressed interest in various topics: Safe School, New National Curriculum, Ethics Code, Code of Conduct and etc.

The President of Education Professional Syndicate, Tato Shavshishvili, Chairman of the League of Education Leaders, Gia Murghulia and 500 School Principals from the different regions of Georgia participated in the conference. Representatives of Diplomatic Corps and NGOs were invited at the conference as well.

Initiators of the meeting are the members of Education Alliance of Georgia: Education Professional Syndicate, League of Education Leaders, Partner Schools’ and Teachers’ Union, Education Research and Professional Development Center, Institute of Education.
