Discussion of School Principal Professional Code of Ethics was held at MES. Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Irine Kurdadze and Director of Teacher Professional Development Center, Gia Mamulashvili took participation in the working meeting.

Principals of Tbilisi 100 schools discussed the Code in details. Relations between the teachers, school children, Resource Officers and parents will be regulated by this Code.

According to the School Principal Professional Code of Ethics, Principal is responsible for creating safe, organized and benevolent educational and working environment. One of the guarantees of successful school is School Principals’ objective and fair work.

Notes and opinions that were expressed by the Principals will be considered in the final version of Ethics Code.

Teachers’ Ethics Code and school children Code of Conduct will be launched from the next academic year together with School Principal Professional Code of Ethics. Members of the Public Board, representatives of NGOs, School Principals, teachers, school children and their parents participated in the development of these Codes.
