Owing to the decision of the Government of Georgia, the entrants living in the occupied territories will be enrolled in the selected higher education institutions without taking the unified national exams, in conjunction with the state funding their tuition fees in full.

Individuals living in the occupied territories of Georgia who are unable to register for the Unified National Examinations, or who are unable to enroll at a higher education institution despite registering for these exams, have the opportunity to enroll under an accredited higher education program and receive a state education completely free of charge.

According to the above conditions, those living in the occupied territories of Georgia who have been studying for the last two years and have received a full general education certificate at a general education institution in the occupied territories, will be enrolled whilst receiving state funding without the need for Unified National Exams.

The temporary administrative-territorial unit of the Tskhinvali region and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia will ensure the registration of those wishing to enroll and receive funding for tuition at Georgian higher education institutions.
