Zestaponi Vocational College "Construct 2" held an open day for those wishing to receive vocational education, representatives of the business sector and other stakeholders. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia attended the event and addressed the attending public.
Tamar Kitiashvili: “Construct 2” College is the best example of private-public partnership. This is what determines compliance with college-trained staff and market requirements. The College introduces all the innovations in the field of vocational education and is the center of international quality education in Zestaponi.”
The attendees received information about the vocational programs operating at the college, as well as the registration process, professional testing, and further employment opportunities. The guests toured the college infrastructure and witnessed an exhibition of works created by the students.
College "Construct 2" is a joint successful project of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and the development company m². The College offers both qualification and short-term programs, including 11 training programs in construction and a two-year education program - "Occupational Safety and Environmental Technologies". This program is fully funded by the Ministry. College students are also provided with dormitories.
College education includes both theoretical and practical courses, as well as paid internships. Successful graduates are employed by m² and its subsidiary BK Construction on their own construction projects.
Registration for professional programs is underway throughout Georgia until August 10 of this year.
