Mikheil Chkhenkeli, a candidate for the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, spoke before the Joint Committees of the Parliament of Georgia about the projects implemented in vocational education in 2020 and future plans for the development of the field.
Another vocational college has been added to the list of vocational education institutions in Georgia. Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, together with Irakli Nadareishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Irakli Mezurnishvili, Majoritarian MP of Kaspi Municipality opened the vocational college.
To increase access to vocational education, the construction of a vocational college has started in Borjomi Municipality. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the active involvement of the local self-government.
Practical-laboratory works are being carried out in full compliance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and sanitary-hygienic norms at Akhaltsikhe Vocational College "Opizari".
