The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia continues to work on a new model of vocational education management - the concept of the National Agency for Vocational Skills (SKILLS GEORGIA). The Deputy Minister, Tamar Kitiashvili, together with the President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Giorgi Pertaia, and representatives of donor organizations, discussed the concept of the Agency in depth and answered questions in this regard.

The new concept was positively assessed by the representatives of the donor organizations, in conjunction with pledging their full support to the Ministry in establishing the Agency and its further development.

The workshop was attended by international organizations working in the field of vocational education in Georgia and supporting the ongoing reform. In particular, the EU Delegation to Georgia (EU), the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Good Governance Fund (GGF), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the German Development Bank (KFW), the World Bank (WB), Dvv international, the Millennium Challenge Account-Georgia (MCA) and the German Embassy.
