Tamar Kitiashvili, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia got acquainted with the process of the renewed educational process and observed the sanitary norms at vocational schools of Kakheti region. For this very reason, she visited colleges located in Dedoplistskaro, Lagodekhi and Akhmeta municipalities. Kakheti Governor, Irakli Shioshvili and Deputy Governor, Platon Kalmakhelidze visited the schools together with the Deputy Minister.
The educational process at all three locations of AISI College was fully resumed on March 15, following the recommendations developed by the Ministry of Health. According to Tamar Kitiashvili, all conditions are created at schools, so that the students can receive vocational education.
In parallel with the support-oriented monitoring, the Deputy Minister met with the population together with the representatives of the local authorities. The meeting focused on the development prospects of colleges and the need to involve local businesses in vocational education, which, according to Tamar Kitiashvili, is a necessary precondition for the development of vocations tailored to the needs of the region.
Aisi College, whose educational infrastructure is located in Gurjaani, Dedoplistskaro, Lagodekhi and Akhmeta, is one of the most demanded vocational schools in the Kakheti region.
