Gori State Teaching University announces a national competition for science-themed drawings for schoolchildren within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia - "Science Calendar 2021".
The drawing competition, along with the popularization of science, will help develop creative skills in young people. In particular, art-loving students will have the opportunity to capture the achievements of science, discoveries, technological inventions, the creative way of scientists or various aspects of scientific research in fine arts.
Eligible students of X, XI and XII grades of any general educational institution of Georgia have the right to participate in the competition. Those wishing to participate must send the competition documents - competition application (see application form) and description of the drawing, electronic version of the work of art - by September 1, 2021 to the following address: email@example.com
Upon completion of the applications, the competition commission, through an open competition, will review the entries and identify the 3 winners who will be awarded cash prizes. The first-place student will receive 500 GEL, the second-place winner will receive 300 GEL, and the third-place winner will receive 200 GEL.
In addition, the commission will reveal the 10 best works that will be exhibited at the Horizon Europe Grant Office at Gori University.
Students participating in the competition will receive certificates of participation, and the authors of 10 outstanding works will be awarded with commemorative gifts along with the certificates.
