On July 16, 2024, Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia, accompanied by Deputy Minister Nodar Papukashvili, visited the Institute of Bacteriophagy, Microbiology, and Virology, as well as the Ivane Beritashvili Biomedicine Center. During the visit, the Minister explored the infrastructure of these research institutes and gained insights into their ongoing scientific research activities.
During "Young Scientists' Week" organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, a panel discussion titled - "Translating Scientific Research into the Economy: The Example of Georgia" was held at the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
With the financial support and organization of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the "Young Scientists for a Better Future of the Planet" week is currently underway.
At a scientific conference, the 2022 recipients of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia's "Young Scientists Scholarship" competition showcased their work through poster presentations.
