The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia has established registration and examination deadlines for individuals wishing to complete classes I-XII through external studies. Registration for the exams will be open from June 12, 2024, to June 18, 2024, and the examinations themselves will take place from June 21, 2024, to July 2, 2024.
Candidates are eligible to sit for the exams if they meet the age requirements for the respective class level and have completed the educational program of the preceding class.
For external registration, an adult candidate or a legal representative of a minor must submit an application to the resource centre within the specified registration period, adhering to the following guidelines:
1. If the candidate is currently enrolled in a school, the application must be submitted to the resource centre operating within the jurisdiction of the school.
2. If the candidate is not enrolled in a school, the application can be submitted to any resource centre based on preference.
The required documents for registration include:
a) A completed application form indicating the candidate's name, contact details (address, phone number, email), the subject(s) and class(es) they wish to complete through external studies, the preferred language of examination, required foreign language(s) for examination (if applicable), and any optional subjects based on the national curriculum.
b) A copy of the candidate's birth certificate or identity document.
c) Proof of completion of the educational program for the preceding class/semester for which external examination is sought.
d) If education was received abroad, a document verifying completion of the relevant educational program, recognized under Georgian law.
e) For examination in specific subjects, a certificate issued by the school confirming the need to complete the general education program of the subject(s) at the secondary level through external studies.
