
Mikheil Chkhenkeli, a candidate running for the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, addressed the joint committees of the Parliament of Georgia and introduced important projects to the public.
To prevent the further dissemination of the novel COVID-19 virus, owing to the decision of the Interagency Council, Between November 4-25, distance learning will strictly remain in place for the following cities: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Zestaponi, Gori, Gardabani, Poti and Marneuli. The learning process is also carried out remotely in the region of Adjara.
Within the framework of a joint project of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the Government of Estonia and the United Nations Children's Fund, primary school teachers, administration representatives and education system staff will be trained in the methods of distance learning.
