Aleksandre Tsuladze, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia, visited the newly rehabilitated public school in the village of Marani, Abasha Municipality. The school underwent complete rehabilitation with support from the Ministry, creating a modern educational environment.
During his visit, Minister Tsuladze toured the upgraded facilities, congratulating the school community on resuming educational activities in a state-of-the-art space. He also held a meeting with the teachers of Marani Public School, discussing key topics such as teacher salary policies and initiatives for professional development. At the end of the meeting, the Minister recognized and awarded the teachers for their contributions.
The event was attended by Nino Vibliani, Acting State Representative in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, and Giga Gabelaia, Mayor of Abasha Municipality.
The rehabilitation project, costing over GEL 2.5 million, has transformed the school into a facility that meets modern standards. It serves 200 students and includes study spaces, natural and computer science labs, resource rooms, a doctor's office, a library, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium.
The school is fully accessible, featuring an elevator, adapted restrooms, and a ramp to ensure inclusivity for all students.
