With the support of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, “Giorgi Otarashvili Legal Company” implements the project “Law in our life”. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Irine Kurdadze and representatives of the company visited Tbilisi Public School №23 and within the frame of the project discussed legal issues with the schoolchildren and answered their questions.

 Implementation of the project “Law in our life “started in 2010 at Tbilisi public schools. The schoolchildren of the secondary level take part in it. The project has already been implemented at Tbilisi Public Schools №87 and №147. The project will be implemented at Tbilisi Public Schools №24, №128, №381 AND №56 From February 15 to March 17.

The project is designed to establish strong, active and fair society. Lawyers give lectures to schoolchildren on different topics: human rights, children’s rights, gender equality, home law, criminal responsibilities, and criminal court on juvenile crimes.

The schoolchildren are very interested in the project. They actively take part in discussions on every topic. The project will ensure creation of the basis of the knowledge of law. As a result, citizens will be able to protect their rights and study as well as acknowledge their responsibilities before their country and society.

The Jury system will be discussed on the final session of the project. The schoolchildren will be able to role-play the imaginary criminal court. The best participants will be awarded with certificates.
