Within the framework of Educational
Program for Talented and Distinguished People with High Academic Performance, the Ministry of
Education and Science of Georgia announces the opening of a contest aimed at
gaining scholarship for Bachelor programs for the academic year 2014-2015 in
higher educational institutions abroad.
With the help of Educational Program for Talented and Distinguished People
with High Academic Performance and based on an open contest, students are
given an opportunity of doing bachelor degree program in leading universities
of the world with the help of the State.
Eligible candidate must:
- Be a citizen of
Georgia, holder of neutral ID document or a neutral travel document
- Have
a high academic performance
- Be a winner of
various international and national educational events and competitions
- Be admitted to one of
the priority higher education institutions: a university Attached see the list or a
college Attached see the list
Those who wish to apply are required to
submit to the Ministry the following documents:
- Application (an
application has to contain title of the contest program, as well as
information on employment status of the applicant and his/her family
members)
- ID card/ neutral ID
document or/and neutral travel document
- CV
- Copies of general
education certificate and a transcript (in case if an applicant does not
possess the certificate of general education, he/she may submit a document
proving completion of general education course or a transcript of the last
three grades in case if the previous document is unavailable)
- Transcript from a
higher education institution abroad (in case if an applicant is already a
bachelor student)
- Copies of documents
proving participation in international or national academic activities or competitions
or other academic activities.
- Two recommendation
letters
- Motivation
letter
- Amount and
destination of the requested sum of money
- Admission

Applications shall be submitted to the
Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia from December 2, 2013 to February 28, 2014.
The contest shall be conducted in two
stages: 1. Selection of applications. 2. Interview
Distance interview shall be organized
upon the request of an applicant
