By the initiative of Independent
School Association, another workshop was held with the representatives of private schools.
Several important issues were discussed on the meeting, including new scheme
for vocational development of teachers and joint aims regarding improvement of
learning-teaching quality. The Deputy Ministers of Education and Science of
Georgia Giorgi Sharvashidze and Lia Gigauri and representatives of National
Center for Teacher Professional Development were participating in the meeting.
Discussion was also about
authorization issues of general education facilities, provision of school
electronic magazines, its perfection etc. The representatives of private
schools from different regions of Georgia had an opportunity to express their
opinions and listen answers on the questions asked to the deputy ministers.
