UNESCO started to receive
applications within the framework of Young Professionals Programme for 2015.
The goal of abovementioned programme is to attract young professionals to the
activities of UNESCO, in organization’s head office or its regional bureaus
worldwide.
According to the rules of Human
Resources Management Bureau, each country has a right to present maximum 10
candidates until July 10, 2015. The candidates should be no older than
32 year on 31 December, 2015, to have a perfect knowledge of English of French
languages and have at minimum advanced degree in one of the following
fields:
- Education – Education
planning; Comparative education; Reform of education; Human resources
management; Business administration;
- Natural sciences –
Environmental natural sciences;
- Social and humanitarian
sciences – Social and humanitarian sciences (Social transformation;
Formulation of politics, Youth and intercultural dialogue);
- Culture – International
law;
- Communication and
information – Sciences of communication or information;
- Foreign relations – Foreign
relations; Political sciences;
- Juridical - International law; Contract law; Commercial
or administrative law;
- Finance management –
Finances; Accounting; Audit.
Knowledge of both
foreign languages (English and French), also knowledge of other foreign
languages is considered as additional advantage.
Interested persons
should apply until June 15 (until the end of June 14) to the Secretariat of
Georgian National Commission for UNESCO with following documentation:
- CV – on Georgian;
- Motivation letter – on
English or French (letter should contain at least 500 words and represent
applicant’s vision of his role in the organization – how s/he sees
himself/herself in organization’s system and in chosen structural unit and
how s/he can contribute with his/her knowledge, experience and aspiration
to the activities of organization envisaged by its mandate).
It’s also
desirable to present certificate confirming knowledge of foreign language,
comfort letter, or some additional documents confirming professional knowledge
and experience.
