Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava
held a working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
Finland Aria McConnen. The Minister introduced the current situation in Georgia
and future plans in the field of education and science to the Ambassador.
According to Aleksandre Jejelava, the Ministry has ambitious
plans in terms of development of general vocational and higher education, and
the goal is to reach the best of European standards in these areas.
The Finnish party talked about the possibility of sharing
Finnish experience and initiated implementation of the joint projects. At the
end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Finland expressed his gratitude to the
Georgian party for information meeting and invited to Finland for strengthening
of further cooperation.
