The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia hosted the coordination meeting of donors and international organizations engaged in the area of vocational education. The meeting was organized by MoES Vocational Education Department. The international organizations operating in the VET area in Georgia (EU, UNDP, GIZ, MCA, ETF) participated in the meeting.

Within the meeting frames, ongoing activities of the Ministry and in particular, activities in the sphere of vocational education were discussed. The current progress of ongoing projects carried out by donor organizations and future perspectives were also reviewed. The work carried out in the first quarter of 2017 and challenges of the vocational education Sector were evaluated. The donor organizations defined future cooperation areas and opportunities.
