The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia constantly spreads information about the international scholarship programs offered by various countries, where the Georgian citizens can participate after meeting certain criteria. International scholarship programs may be offering three levels of higher education programs (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctor’s) as well as qualification courses for public workers and short-term summer programs (summer school). Some programs announced on the MoES web-site consider special quota allocated for Georgia, e.g. the scholarships offered by Slovenian government. The quota for the Georgian citizens is three scholarships.
What stages should be passed to obtain the scholarship (with relevant quota)?
At the first stage, it is necessary to submit required documents to the Ministry after which an interview is appointed with the scholarship commission. The latter prepares the list of candidates and sends it to the authority of the country where the program is announced.
What documents are required in such case?
The required documents are the following: cover letter, short resume (CV), recommendation letter, copy of the diploma with the evaluation paper (some scholarship programs may request other type of documents, e.g. medical certificate or passport copy).
