In the course of revision of the National Curriculum, it is very important to discuss the revised National Curriculum with different interested groups. School pupils belong that huge group, which are directly applied by the changes in the National Curriculum. Hence, it is essential to introduce them to the news related to the National Curriculum and to hear their opinions about this issue in order to form really active teaching programs.

This was the purpose of the meeting with the 9th grade pupils, where a standard of the new subject of the basic public sciences – “Citizenship” was discussed. It should be noted that in the 9th grade the pupils have already studied the subject “Civil Education” that will make it easier for them to understand the changes made in this subject.

The meeting was held in the discussion mode. The students were interested in discussing the new standard and put forward many interesting initiatives, which will once again become the subject of discussion of the working group.
