The
Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Nunu
Mitskevichi attended the gathering of Georgian scientists at the Orbeliani
Palace on the initiative of the President of Georgia and addressed the
audience.
The
Caucasus Studies Center aims to strengthen the coordination of scientific,
educational and research organizations in the region of Caucasus, and promotes
the peaceful coexistence of cultures and religions.
In her speech, Nunu Mitskevichi noted that the development of science and the
promotion of internationalization is one of the top priorities of the Ministry
of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, which is reflected in the
increased budget for the year. The Deputy Minister also stressed that the
President's initiative, which involves the unification of Georgian scientific,
educational and research organizations, will be supported by the Ministry.
The
scientific community gathered at Orbeliani Palace presented their views to the
President of Georgia and participated in the signing ceremony.
