Factoring in the interest of candidates for the 2020 exams while assessing the current situation, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia together with the National Center for Assessment and Examinations, decided to extend the deadline for registration for the Unified National and Graduate exams, and Student Grant Competition to April 30, by 18:00.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “considering the interest of Entrants, the registration for Unified National, Graduate and Student Grant exams will be extended until April 30. I would also like to emphasize that this change applies only to the registration deadlines and not to the dates of the Unified National Exams itself. As for the date of the Unified National Exams, no change will be considered at this stage. Moreover, I’d like to remind our public that a massive project - Teleskola, implemented by our Ministry in cooperation with the Public Broadcaster, First Channel, will be launched on Monday. Subsequently, as a part of this project, the Entrant hours will be scheduled, where our leading specialists will advise the entrants on the national exams.”
Information on any additional changes will be posted immediately on the official Facebook page and relevant websites of the National Assessment and Examinations Center of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia.
Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the National Assessment and Examination Center continues to hold Open Days online, where entrants have the possibility to learn more and ask questions on Center’s official Facebook page every Wednesday from 13:00 to 16:00. Additionally, the center hotline operates 24 hours a day. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has developed a plan that includes both online and TV lessons that will allow students to complete the current school year.
