the Interagency Coordination Council clarified the rules and regulations with regards to preventing the spread of coronavirus, while ensuring maximum protection of the participants during the examination process.
According to the recommendations of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, only 50% of participants and supervisors will be admitted to the exam area. Each desk will be equipped with a transparent protective shield / barrier on the front, while maintaining a safe distance of 2 meters between the tables.
Additionally, by adhering to new rules and regulations issued by healthcare specialists, such as: using thermo-screening, practicing social distancing, and placing protective barriers between the tables, students are now allowed to remove their facemasks during the examination process. Also, based on the recommendations issued by the Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia and European Center for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC), air conditioners are allowed to operate during natural ventilation (having the windows opened). Please note, wearing a face mask under a functioning conditioner is a must.
When using air conditioning, it is important to follow the following rules:
- Social distancing
- Hand hygiene
- Wearing protective face masks
- The airflow from the air conditioner should not be directed towards individuals
- It is necessary to have an open window, as the risk of virus transmission is high in an enclosed space
- Re-circulation of the same air is prohibited
It should be noted that all the rules related to health safety during the examination process remain in force.
According to the instructions of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health:
You should wear a mask at the examination center:
- Before taking a seat at the desk
- When leaving the examination sector
- When communicating with other people
- When working with air conditioning
If the participant has a temperature above 37.0 С or any other respiratory symptoms, he / she is always obliged to wear a mask at the examination center.
