The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, accompanied by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, is currently on a working visit to Batumi.
During the visit, Prime Minister Kobakhidze, alongside Tornike Rizhvadze, Chairman of the Government of Adjara, and other Cabinet members, inspected the ongoing construction of the 16th public school in Batumi.
The newly constructed three-story building meets modern standards and features 40 classrooms, designed to accommodate 2,000 students across two shifts.
The project encompasses laboratories, a library, a computer room, an assembly hall seating 300 spectators, as well as open and covered sports grounds with seating. Moreover, the building is being adapted to facilitate accessibility for people with disabilities.
The initiative is being carried out under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports of Adjara, with a budget of 17,388,170 GEL.
