An event dedicated to the centuries-old history of vocational education was held at the Goraberezhouli branch of the "Horizon" college in Guria, which was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, along with Giorgi Urushadze, the State Trustee in the Guria region, and representatives of the local government.
"It's a joyous day in Guria as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the vocational school."
The development of vocational education is, in fact, irreplaceable in Georgia, due to the fact that it has extraordinary results. I advise young people and not only young people, in Guria and beyond, throughout Georgia, to enroll in vocational schools, to master professions.
Today is of great importance, due to the fact that this college has created a huge history during this one century, in fact, it has established a tradition and culture of professional education in Guria, which has already brought very good results and will bring us even greater results in the future," said the head of Georgian Education. Aleksandre Tsuladze, First Deputy Minister of Science and Youth.
It should be noted that 100 years ago, in Chokhatauri, in the village of Goraberezhouli, in the Guria region, an agricultural school was established, whose traditions are already being continued by the professional college "Horizon".
The college provides laboratories equipped with modern standards, where professions in demand in the labor market can be studied.
