Starting September 2024, recent graduates will have the opportunity to participate in a four-month paid internship program in state institutions, initiated by the Government of Georgia. Applications for the internship program will be accepted from August 2 to August 8 of this year.
The selection process for the graduates' internship program will occur in two stages. The first stage involves the submission and review of applications, while the second stage consists of interviews with candidates. The program aims to identify over 3,000 young individuals who will be placed in internships within their preferred regions and public agencies.
Eligibility for the program extends to students from higher education institutions in Georgia who are graduating at the first level or currently studying at the second level of higher education. Additionally, candidates who completed their first or second level of higher education in the spring semester of 2023-2024 can also apply.
One of the key criteria for candidates will be their academic performance, requiring a GPA of 2.8 to 4.0 or a score ranging from 71 to 100 points. In the case of candidates with equal qualifications, preference will be given to those with higher performance during the interview.
Detailed requirements, criteria, and the application form for participation in the program will be available on the Hr.gov.ge portal.
