This is the first precedent of free textbooks for pupils. The State shall purchase textbooks for the pupils of all public schools.
Each family had to pay approximately 100-160 GEL for textbooks annually. In case if there were two schoolchildren in a family, the expenses could reach 200-320 GEL. With the initiative of the Ministry, school textbooks will be available for every family.
