Throughout the recent years, a solid cooperation has formed between The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in terms of vocational education development. GIZ is one of the supporters of the reform and encourages the strategical deveopment and its effective implementation. Moreover, various reforms and initiatives have been successfully implemented within the scope of "Private Sector Development in South Caucasus " – a project organized and funded by the German Society International Cooperation (GIZ).

At this stage, a successful German dual vocational education model is in process of implemention for the course of  winemaking. A productive implemention of the above-mentioned model is available, due to an active participation of the private sector, in-depth knowledge of the histrorical/traditional technologies, sharing of the international experience, applying the innovative and modern approaches in conjunction with acquiring a solid understanding of the labor market.
