Department of National Curriculum aims at the development of the national curriculum, pre-school education and the development of inclusive education.

Natia Jokhadze has been appointed for the position since December 2012. Prior to the appointment to the Ministry of Education and Science, she led the National Curriculum and General Education Department, and worked with the National Science Foundation.
In the past, her work experience, includes the activities of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, and a non-governmental sector. At the same time, she was an expert in Azerbaijan and Belarus, to th United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (Swiss) organization.
Ms. Natia Jokhadze gives lectures at Caucasus University School of Public Management, for public organizations management. She periodically leads the assessment of Masters theses at University of Georgia.
Natia Jokhadze graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University with a master’s degree, and has studied the Urban Planning for her PhD degree. She has worked for her dissertation research component at the University of Miami, Department of Public Administration (USA), within the Regional Research Exchange Program of US Department of State. She was also supported by the German Technical Cooperation Organization participating in the program which comprised of University of Kaiserslautern and Technical university of Georgia. She is a certified public policy analyst at University of North Texas (US) and at Free University (Georgia). At various times, she has undergone the training courses in Law and Human rights in Georgia, strategic planning, OGP, strategic management in the UK, public administration in Spain and many more.
Ms. Natia Jokhadze, was a member of the working group for the UN, NATO and various other international organizations, as well as the member for the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) governing board, and the representative of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in Science and Technology.
She has taken a personal Research scholarships from the following organizations: the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and IREX; Terrorism, Transnational Crime and Corruption Center, USA; Heinrich Boell Foundation, Germany; Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation Office in Georgia.
Natia Jokhadze is an author of one monograph and ten publications, as well as a co-author of a number of policy / normative documents.
Natia Jokhadze has taken part in more than 100 international and local boards, as a reporter, organizer of the session, and as a member of a panel discussion for the pre-school, general, and inclusive education, science and technology policy and administration, social policy, urban development and public management and in many other topics. Her expertise in the areas of public management / administration, pre-school and general education policy and management, science and technology policy and administration, social policy - Housing and Urban Development are unparalleled.
