The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia continues to implement the program which started 2017, which will facilitate the development of professional skills amongst the students.
According to the best international practice, professional skills in school age significantly increases students motivation, promotes their academic achievements and helps young adults in effective transition to higher education. For this purpose, the Ministry announces competition for revealing the best projects!
Vocational
educational institutions, verified by the Georgian legislation are eligible to
participate in the competition. In case of interest, the above-mentioned
institutions shall sign a memorandum of cooperation with the public school and
shall prepare for the application procedure. All Application forms must be
submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia no later than
March 22, 2018.
Competition enables the educational institutions to unite at all levels and
offer a different, more interesting school life to its students.
Within the scope of an already implemented project in 2017, 3300 students of 138 public schools have undergone professional skills courses. The process of monitoring and evaluation is implemented with the support of the UNDP.
