Another vocational college is being built in Khashuri to increase access to vocational education. The project is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia. Deputy Minister, Tamar Kitiashvili, together with the Representative of Shida Kartli, Giorgi Khojevanishvili and other representatives of the local self-government, personally got acquainted with the construction process.
The three-story building for 150 students will be in full compliance with international educational standards. The building, which is fully adapted for people with disabilities, will have modern educational rooms, including high-tech workshops.
Moreover, an open-air sports field will be located in the school yard.
The college will be able to adapt to the needs of the region, and provide courses in electricity, IT, welding, stonework, culinary, confectionary, veterinary medicine, beekeeping, horticulture, forestry, etc.
