In the framework of the program “Promotion of General Education”, more than 9000 pupils from 190 schools throughout Georgia will be provided with school buses. The Ministry allocated 2.6 million GEL for the program.  

Two companies Ltd “V-com” and Ltd “Time service”, the winners of the tender will provide service of transportation. The process will be coordinated by school administrations.

Prior to this, schools had to provide technical maintenance of buses themselves. Within the framework of the new initiative, the companies will be involved in the process in cooperation with schools.

In case of a problem,  schools will be able to address the companies. If the company will not be able to solve a problem in a short period of time, schools will address a relevant resource center. Resource center shall provide assistance within its competences. Otherwise the Resource center shall inform the Ministry.
